The 2008 Psytronik release of Psykozone is now available as a DIGITAL DOWNLOAD! Once you have paid for this item you will be sent a link so that you can download the .TAP version of the complete game as well as the .D64 version that contains bonus content. You can then load the .TAP and .D64 files into a C64 emulator like Winvice or CCS64 and then play the game on your PC!

This great game by Alf Yngve was part of the original Psytronik Software line-up and was due to be released in 1994. Unfortunately the planned enhancements for the game did not happen and the game was not released - UNTIL NOW! Richard Bayliss has continued the project and has delivered this fantastic enhanced version of Psykozone! The game now features a separate intro sequence (complete with digi-tune by FeekZoid), brand new front-end and extra enhancements including 'get ready' and 'game over' sequences + a cool in-game tune by Matt Simmonds (a rendition of the classic theme from 'Streethawk').

** PSYKOZONE STORY **

In the twenty first century the United States have collapsed into a myriad of independent regions. Some trade is being made between the regions by using a badly kept net of expressways known as the PSYKOZONE.

These stretches of road are practically lawless, ruled by gangs of road warriors and genetically-enhanced psycho-bikers. The object of the game is to reach the Pacific ocean by travelling through the most dangerous part of the Psykozone.

So load up with ammo, oil your engine, fill up your tank, secure the plutonium rods and brake for no-one!

** PSYKOZONE GAME FEATURES **

· Intro sequence featuring story + digi title tune!

· Exciting 'Spy Hunter' style shoot 'em up action from Alf Yngve!

· Slick front end coded by Richard Bayliss

· Cool bitmap loading screen by Jason 'TMR' Kelk

** BONUS .D64 GOODIES **

As well as the complete Psykozone game the .D64 disk image also contains the following bonus items:

Monster Mash - This excellent pre-historic romp was originally produced by Jon Wells for the Commodore Zone magazine. It is presented in this .D64 file disk as a bonus game thanks to kind permission from Jon. In this game you control a monster on a quest to MASH! You can stomp on cavemen and set fire to their homes with your flamey breath. Fun! But watch out for the other dinos who are out to mash YOU!

Twin Tigers - This is the first Alf Yngve SEUCK game that was enhanced by Jon Wells. It features a new front-end, high-score table, in-game enhancements including multi-sprite explosions, water effects and a new score display. The game also features one of the coolest C64 renditions of the Airwolf theme, ever!

Silver Axe - This is a rare early game from Alf Yngve. In this game you are on a quest to rescue a buxom beauty from a dank dungeon guarded by Skeletal Warriors, Poison-Spewing Spiders and other horrors.

Cosmic Combat - More shoot 'em up fun from Alf Yngve here. This game was inspired by arcade classics like Galaga, Galaxians, Gaplus and other coin-up shooters that began with 'G' (possibly). The game features a nice selection of enemies including some familiar Galaga style aliens, wiggly space-worms, kamikaze alien rockets, space-spiders, asteroids, comets and MORE!

Borderblast 2 - Yet another shoot 'em up from the MASTER of SEUCK, Alf Yngve! This game contains some neat touches including very cool NUCLEAR BLAST effect! (Hint - find a safe-spot on the screen before the nuke detonates!)
